Selling Private Companies were approached by this client at a local networking event. He had an apparent offer in hand but progress had stalled. After meeting with the prospective buyer we advised that the offer was clearly not viable. We were asked to market the business and quickly made contact with almost 50 potential buyers in the client’s region. Several acceptable offers were received and a share sale eventually completed with a private buyer.
